Standing seam metal roofs are premium roofs and with no revealed fasteners it is a roof that should  last a long time. 

If it is the roof look you have decided on, we recommend the 24 gauge Kynar 500 finish. The downside to these roofs is install cost and lack of warranty, while Specialty Roofing will always stand behind workmanship and the coil manufacturer may stand behind finish it is unlikely anyone will cover labor to remove and replace a standing seam roof rolled by an on-site roll former.
